On April 1st in Baoding: In the human realm's fourth month, the fragrant flowers of April contend with cherry blossoms and fragrant lilies. The vibrant Baoding Vocational College in spring is brimming with life. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom, fragrant lilies add to the beauty, the lake water ripples, small fish play, birds sing, a breathtaking spring scene, like ladies hidden in a deep chamber.
In the courtyard before the second building, cherry blossoms compete to bloom exuberantly, attracting bees buzzing to collect nectar, attracting adults and children to admire and take pictures, a gust of wind sends cherry blossoms fluttering to the ground, the ground is covered in white. Purple and white orchids are in full bloom or in bud, standing tall and elegant, like young maidens, and complement the cherry blossoms, creating a stunning sight. After admiring, one feels refreshed and invigorated.
In the central garden, where the living area and the teaching area meet, purple willows are flourishing, willow vines dangling, tender leaves climbing the branches, vibrant peach blossoms resemble flames, cherry blossoms are charming and graceful; the three-story painted pavilion stands with intricate carvings, located in the center of the lake, the lake water is clear, fish chase each other, playing in the water; a winding waterway runs from west to east through the campus, double-colored lilies along the waterway have an incredibly intoxicating fragrance. A gentle breeze causes the willow vines to sway, the lake to ripple, and the fragrance to fill the air. The three-story painted pavilion and the nearby tall and low towers and dormitories and teaching buildings and laboratories face each other, bridge, pavilion, water, and buildings echo each other, full of spirit. As the setting sun descends, the sun, the painted pavilion, and trees are reflected in the water, like reality and illusion, water and sky are one, cuckoos call, water birds soar, sparrows chirp, and magpies dance, what a vibrant and boundless spring scene, like a Jiangnan water town.
