Visiting Changsha: A Feeling of Nostalgia and a Slower Pace
On August 4th last year, I arrived at West Lake in Hangzhou. The Long Bridge isn't long, the school I once dreamed of attending, I didn't get in, ha ha ha. Qinghefang, forgive me for my phone falling and taking blurry pictures. Some hand-painted figurines, I almost bought them. Wushan Scenic Area, the navigation got me lost. Due to time constraints, I didn't go. What a regret. By the way, there was also Wushan Night Market, I didn't take any pictures, just a lot of night market stalls and various vendors. 10 yuan Nike Adidas slippers, dozens of fake AJ various fake goods, of course, 20 yuan roasted pig's feet are genuine.

Nanping Evening Bell is located on the West Lake of Hangzhou, next to a pavilion. That night, when I returned, a young man was resting in the pavilion with a suitcase. I asked him what he was doing there, and he said he was looking for a job there and had no money, so he just slept here. Then I suddenly had a whim and took him back to the hostel to pay for one night (I felt like a knight, of course, mainly because the hostel was relatively cheap). The next day, I left Hangzhou. That day was Valentine's Day, seriously! Reminder, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport is quite remote, without direct subway and bus connections, only the airport shuttle bus.
How to describe this city of Changsha? Compared to other provincial capitals, the number of high-rise buildings feels much smaller, like a four or five-line city. However, the snacks are quite plentiful, the pace isn't fast, it's a little like Chengdu, but Chengdu feels newer, Changsha has a more vintage feel. I went to Jizihu (Orange Isle), I didn't see 'ten thousand hills and forests in full bloom,' 'billowing waves of boats,' but the Xiang River still nurtures the people of this land. CBD should be near Wuyi Square, I don't know, please correct me. Welcome to point it out.

Later, I became a little tired and didn't go to many places. What was interesting was that there was a guitar in the hostel, and I played it one night. A young lady sat beside me listening. The boss (male) came over and said in a somewhat teasing tone, 'You can add each other on WeChat'. At that time, I just didn't know what it meant. Later, a fellow roommate told me that she and the boss were a couple who lived together before, they broke up, and she moved out, probably because she couldn't find a place to live, and then she came back.

It's no wonder the boss's words were so strange that night. Then, I returned to Chongqing. The most important thing about traveling is to be happy. Although I didn't manage to go to all the planned places, overall, it was a happy experience. As a solo traveler, I can do whatever I want, I can go to Wuhan to try Hubei alley's duck necks, I can go to Nanjing to watch trains coming towards the sunset under the bridges, I can also go to the Bund to experience the 'ten leagues of ships and wine' and the red lights and green wine. Happiness is the most important thing.
