Zhongba Grand Canyon is located on the Han side of Shiqian County, Shaanxi Province, 108 kilometers from Ankang City, with the highway directly connecting to the scenic area. The canyon boasts beautiful scenery and a unique style, resembling a picturesque landscape. It is characterized by narrowness, length, beauty, peculiarity, danger, beauty, clearness, and spirituality, integrating stone, cave, forest, spring, lake, and waterfall natural landscapes. Viewing it in sequence creates a myriad of scenes.
The canyon's landscape consists of the Grand Canyon, Small Canyon, Nucao Canyon (Cow Heart Canyon), Long Cave, and Huangcun Dam Garden, along with over 100 attractions. The total length of the canyon is more than 10 kilometers.
The Grand Canyon is 7 kilometers long, and the entire canyon is a 'one-line sky,' with a maximum width of only 10 meters. It twists and turns, resembling a snake. The rock walls on both sides are layered and stacked, with a vertical height of thousands of meters. The forest is dense, and in many places, the sky cannot be seen. There's a striking cliff called 'She Shan Yi Ren' (Sacrifice Cliff), towering hundreds of meters into the clouds; there's also 'Qu Zi Shan' (Eagle Rock); there's 'Zhuo Zhou Jian Pi' (Knife-Sliced Sword Peak); and 'Zhuo Wa Shan' (Pig Waist Canyon) among other attractions.
The Small Canyon is no wider than a meter, with a high and steep terrain and rushing water. The mountains are quirky and interesting, with dramatic waterfalls and steep, rugged cliffs. In one kilometer, the river falls several times. Nucao Canyon is a hidden paradise. There are many interestingly shaped rocks, like 'Nuo Xin Shi' (Cow Heart Stone), 'Lian Xin Shi' (Linked Heart Stone), and 'Xian Ren Shi' (Immortal Man Stone), all exquisitely realistic and charming.
The canyon's mysterious water source flows out from three caves named Qinglong Cave, Huanglong Cave, and Maolong Cave. The flowing springs and waterfalls are graceful and varied, resembling silver threads flowing straight down or silver silk covering the entire canyon, like emerald and pearl embedded in the narrow canyon, captivating the eye and bringing a sense of tranquility and joy.
