The Astronomical Observation Hall Project in Shangqiu City has been approved
The construction site of the Astronomical Observation Hall in Shangqiu City is located at 1.5 kilometers southwest of the ancient city of Shangqiu, Shangqiu,, east of , north of , north side of, inside the Huo Shen Tai scenic area


The project occupies approximately 70 acres, mainly divided into areas such as the Astronomical Observation Hall main exhibition hall, exhibition areas, open-air exhibition corridor, wish corridor, main entrance square, and underground parking area
Total construction area is 18,000 square meters, of which exhibition and education accounts for about 10,800 square meters, public services account for about 2,700 square meters, business research accounts for about 1,800 square meters, and management and guarantee accounts for about 2,700 square meters
The earliest existing observatory in China:

is a viewing platform site dating back 4500 years. It is earlier than the Lingtai built in Luoyang by Zhang Heng in the Eastern Han Dynasty, by 2200 years, and is the earliest existing observatory in China
Huo Shen Tai scenic area is also a relatively mature attraction in Shangqiu. It is adjacent to the ancient city and next to the Shangqiu Museum, Liang Culture Park, and the Shangqiu Astronomical Observation Hall will further enhance the attraction of Huo Shen Tai scenic area, and the scenic area will have more to see!
