There's a Bus in Suzhou That Allows You to Enjoy Food and Sightseeing, Netizens Say It's Fresh
Have you ever tried touring a city while enjoying gourmet food on a luxury bus? I imagine very few people have experienced this. In Suzhou, there's a company that transforms buses into mobile luxury food trucks, collecting various delicious dishes from the city center to supply to guests. Guests can enjoy gourmet food and various services offered by the food truck while touring the panoramic views of Suzhou. This is Suzhou's Good Trip Food Bus.
I'm sure many friends haven't heard of this novel thing in Suzhou. But in fact, this isn't a recently launched travel route product; the Food Bus has been around for many years. This food bus experience originally came from the UK, where such food trucks are very popular, but the adoption and implementation in the Suzhou market weren't very effective.
The decoration of the truck is also very comfortable. They removed all the chairs and made it resemble a train with facing-each-other seats. On a bus that could originally hold dozens of people, now it can only accommodate about 6 tables. However, it's still sufficient because the food truck doesn't get very crowded.
On the truck, there's a dedicated guide who will explain the scenery along the way and occasionally serve you food. Although the journey is only one or two hours, there are a lot of things on the truck, such as Tai Lake white shrimp, crab yellow noodles, silver carp spring rolls, and crisp lotus candy purchased from reputable shops like Zi Chai and Ye Shu.
You can enjoy delicious food, high-quality service, and air conditioning by simply riding the truck to explore Suzhou. But why does so few people choose this comfortable way? There are roughly a few reasons: one is that many people who come to Suzhou like to visit gardens and actually go inside to watch; two, the consumption of the food truck is relatively expensive, costing several hundred yuan for two hours, which limits the number of people who can afford it.
