Once Spring Arrives, the Forbidden City Becomes Purple Forbidden City
Everyone says the Forbidden City and winter snow are the most compatible, but I find the spring of the Forbidden City the most beautiful.
The red walls and glazed tiles reflect the splendor of the blooming gardens, as if transporting us back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, back to the time of the imperial palace.
The pear blossoms in Shungong Palace, the magnolia in the Imperial Garden, the apricot blossoms under the palace walls, and the countless blooming trees encountered unintentionally in every corner of the palace – everywhere is a surprise.
The ancient and exquisite corner eaves, paired with the delicate buds, add a romantic and youthful breath to this ancient palace.
