Weihai, Shandong: China’s Most Unique Bus Stops – Tourists: First Time Seeing

Weihai is the easternmost coastal city in Shandong Province. Its beauty and cleanliness are renowned throughout the country. Liu Gong Island, Chengshan Head, and Gaoqu Scenic Area Bathing Beach are the most visited places by tourists.

I was immediately attracted by the garden-like streets and alleys and the extremely clean air upon my first visit. It's truly justified that it's called 'China's Most Livable City',

Walking around Weihai City is rich, unlike other inland cities in the north, which are monotonous and flat with nothing new. Weihai City has the sea, and by the sea are forests, and on the mountains are buildings, stacked one on top of the other, breathtakingly beautiful. However, here I discovered a very interesting phenomenon: Weihai's bus stops,

Weihai's bus stops are very clean, and there aren't many people waiting. What's new and exciting is the electronic screen on the platform. The screen displays the station name, and when I'm at the station, a moving animation car continuously approaches, slowly getting closer to the station name. It's so interesting! If Beijing had such convenient facilities for citizens waiting for buses, perhaps all those who had to travel long distances could be at ease…

I believe this title of 'China's Most Livable City' shouldn't just be based on the livability of natural conditions. More importantly, does the city consider the convenience of citizens in every aspect of their lives?

In Weihai, I've seen community canteens that provide convenience for the elderly and dual-income households, and community city libraries where citizens can enter with just their ID cards. There are also free fitness parks built along the long coastal line. Living in such a city, you naturally feel happy,

Today is the spring equinox, with day and night divided equally. Weihai's spring has arrived.
