On a weekend in early spring, take a few friends, walk to Wulong Village on the banks of the Yilive River to enjoy the scenery and admire the flowers.
Because the peach blossoms in Wulong Village on the banks of the Yilive River are quite famous in Qixia County, and belong to Qixia County’s ten scenic spots, every spring in March, when the peach blossoms in Wulong Village are in full bloom, citizens from Qixia County will come in droves.
‘Spring comes and turns to the wild houses, endless spring light blooms in the evening glow. Attract the beauty of the city's women, Wulong in sight of the peach blossoms.’ This poem describes the scene of men and women of all ages in Qixia County gathering in Wulong Village to enjoy the peach blossoms when spring comes.
In early spring, on the banks of the Yilive River, it’s full of spring, with swallows flying and flowers blooming, willows and reeds are green, the river flows smoothly, everywhere exudes the fragrance of spring. Looking out, the water of the Yilive River is crystal clear, flowing and flowing. The willows on both sides of the river are covered with green leaves. The peach trees, apricot trees, apple trees, and pear trees in Wulong Village's countryside have woken up after a winter's dormancy, and various buds have quietly blossomed, forming a colorful flower world.
The most eye-catching is a piece of peach garden connected to another piece, forming a continuous area, from a distance it looks like a piece of pink ocean, also like the clouds falling from the sky, dazzling and brilliant, warm and bright. Dense peach blossoms melted into patches of red, a sea of pink flowers, flowers and foliage clustered together, blooming brilliantly, formed a ten-mile peach blossom scenery. Along the channel, pass through the fields, enter the peach grove, you can only feel a cluster of fiery pink surrounding you, like fire and flames, feeling that the scene in front of you is beyond the world of peaches and plums in the pen of Tao Yuanming.
After the sunrise, the roar of cars, the sound of horses' hooves, and the chirping calls of birds broke the morning quiet. Tourists gradually increased, and the banks of the Yilive River also came to life. Groups of children came to the riverbank, weaving flower crowns from the willow branches on both banks and wearing them on their heads, barefoot, playing and splashing in the shallow water, catching fish and shrimp. Several young guys and older grandfathers carried hoes, drove cattle and sheep, and sang mountain songs, with happy smiles on their faces, coming to the fields early to water, make ponds, and dig earth, sowing hope in blocks of fertile land.
