I Wish to Wait for the Rain and You in the Sahara Desert
Marrakesh-Saharan Desert-Nfis, this route is 1100 kilometers long, and it is recommended to arrange at least 3 days to cross. It is advised to join a tour for the Sahara Desert, with tour fees varying depending on the number of people and vehicle type. Group tours generally follow the same itinerary, regardless of whether they are independent or customized, and prices depend on the vehicle type, desert accommodation! The first day passes through Ait Benhaddou village, which was built in the 8th century and listed on the World Heritage List in 1987.

Game of Thrones, Mummy, Gladiator, and many other Hollywood blockbusters were filmed here. Climb to the highest point, at this moment, the distant land you are in is half oases and half wilderness, with the face of the gale blowing, causing the skirt to be unexpectedly lifted. When descending, you will pass through many farms, and most households will set up stalls with various objects. The original objects collide with modern tourists, and we don't know if our arrival has disturbed their lives.

Everyone who comes to this place has a heart full of wanting to invest in the desert. The earliest cognition of the Sahara is from Three Apples. Leaving Walzazat, we head towards the Sahara Desert. The scenery along the way becomes increasingly desolate, extending into a vast uninhabited area for a long time, seemingly without end. We don't want to nap in the car, fearing to miss a moment. People seem to become greedy when faced with beautiful scenery.

We passed through Todra Gorge, a geological gorge located in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The gorge is only 10 meters wide, but has a height of over 300 meters, forming a natural barrier. This should be the locals' favorite garden, with small groups of people sitting on the ground, brewing a pot of mint tea, and chatting about family matters. After a 7-hour drive, we finally rode camels deep into the Sahara.

In the Sahara Desert, we are led by Berber people wearing long robes, traversing the Sahara, passing through undulating sand dunes. Along the way, we only hear the breathing sounds of our camels, and the wind and sand evoke a sense of awe for the Sahara. After a period of time, the leader signaled the camel to stop, letting it rest, and we began to hike in the Sahara. However, the sandstorm was too strong, making every step forward extremely difficult. When we climbed to the top of the mountain, we sat on the traces of the wind blowing across the desert and waited for the sunset with our camels.

Camels are the guardians of the Sahara, and the Berbers are the steadfast protectors of camels.

The Berber people's soft singing makes the nights in the Sahara timeless. At this moment, please don't speak, lie quietly on the sofa, look up at the moving stars, and see vast areas of the Milky Way. Time seems to stand still. The tent occasionally hears snoring, still not disturbing us. At this moment, you might think of family members, or places that have always been difficult to touch in your heart.

Our mood can fluctuate greatly, like the rise and fall of the sun. In the distance, we must wait for a sunset and a run with the sunrise.

The story of the Sahara ends here, and our journey becomes increasingly like a stamp-collecting one. We hope the Sahara will not disappear again, and we will take a bottle of Sahara sand to say goodbye in a hurry!
