The most beautiful flowers in Nanning – red trumpet vines! These vibrant red flowers are full of passion. In fact, these unrestrained trumpet vines are everywhere in Nanning. They are planted as decorations and natural barriers, and many units and communities have connected rows of trumpet vines. Every spring, the flowers are a brilliant red, incredibly beautiful. The most famous are beneath Qingshan, along the (Yungjiang River), where a large area of trumpet vines bloom, attracting many citizens to admire and photograph during the blooming season.
However, Qingshan is a bit far. If you pay attention, you can see such beauty everywhere. I was recently drawn to these fiery red trumpet vines in the Lvtang (Green Pond) on Sihuan Road. Although these trumpet vines haven't fully opened yet, they are already striking.
The key is that these trumpet vines are growing along Nanning's narrowest sidewalks. That's right, some of Nanning's sidewalks are only a few tens of centimeters wide. Besides the Cha Garden intersection on Minzu Road, the section in Lvtang is considered the narrowest, less than half a meter wide. This sidewalk, now bursting with blooming trumpet vines, has become a very beautiful walkway. However, because the trumpet vines' branches hang down, walking along this narrow sidewalk is a bit difficult - you really have to squeeze through the flowers.
