Niu’er Station: A Sight That Astonishes Tourists, But Locals Don't Appreciate It – A Beautiful View Seen and Seen Again
For a long time, I lived in Jiangbei, and I had to take the No. 3 subway line across the Yangtze River to work at a company in Yuzhong District.

With the No. 5 and No. 9 lines not yet open, the Longhua section connected Jiangbei and Yuzhong, and only the deep blue No. 3 line was available. If you have ever taken this train during morning or evening peak hours, you would know why it is called the 'most heavily trafficked line in Chongqing's rail network'

Fortunately, my residence was near Jiazhou Road at that time, and if you were lucky enough, you could find a seat on the train—so you wouldn't have to stand the entire way shoulder to shoulder.
Whether it was going to work or returning home, every time the train passed the Niu'er Station, I would always get up from my seat, turn around, and press my nose against the window—the scenery at Niu'er Station was too beautiful, even though I saw it every day, I could never get tired of it. I would rather stand home to miss this enjoyment.

At that time, I would always transfer at Niu'er Station—although it was widely called 'hellish transfer station' by some citizens due to its crowded personnel and complex lines, I had never been upset by it.
Line 2 spans Yuzhong, and Line 3 runs across both rivers. At Niu'er, these two tracks intersect in a cross shape connecting two stations at different elevations, and it is called 'time tunnel' glass corridor.

On this corridor, pedestrians can appreciate the hurried and winding overpasses, and can also see the quiet and tranquil riverside park. They can overlook the Yangtze River flowing continuously, and can also find idle anglers fishing quietly on the Jiangtan.

Sometimes, when there is a thick fog across the river, the mist will rise to the corridor, and everything in the distance is indistinct and unclear—this really gives a 'time-traveling' dreamlike illusion.
Every time a friend came to Chongqing, I would take them directly to the Niu'er transfer station. Friends from the vast plains had only seen tourist advertisements in their own city's rail transit, and they hadn't seen such a scenic spot that has become a tourist attraction.

Many people unconsciously sighed: 'Chongqing people are so happy, if my commute had such a beautiful station, I would definitely love life more.'
I smiled when I heard this. Chongqing residents who passed through this place every day have completely forgotten that there was such a beautiful scenery around them.
When passing through the corridor, most people are in a hurry, holding their phones and scrolling through them, few of them turn their heads to look at the scenery outside the window.
Only outsiders can discover these beautiful things, it seems forever.

Chongqing residents live in beauty, but they cannot see the beauty around them. Some say this is because Chongqing has too many such scenery, everyone has seen it and become numb, and they adopt a neglect attitude towards beauty.
Perhaps this is correct, but being unable to appreciate beauty—this should also be considered a pity.
