Waiyueibi (Koi’s Back)
Yiyueibi, one of Beijing's ten most dangerous mountains, belongs to the JiuGuo Kou section of the Great Wall. It starts at Hefangkou. During the construction of the Great Wall, this mountain was so rugged and steep that it resembled a koi's back, with several large and small rock formations resembling smooth koi spines, hence the name 'Yiyueibi' (Koi's Back).

I went on an outdoor activity in mid-March 2016, led by our team leader, traveling by bus from the meeting point. I was late, as it's common in outdoor activities where the cost is usually around one hundred yuan, including transportation fees, team leader fees, entrance tickets, and a one-day outdoor accident insurance policy.

Just hearing the name 'Yiyueibi' tells you that the mountain resembles a koi's back, with steep and rugged terrain, presenting a certain level of difficulty, requiring you to use your hands and feet. It's a challenging experience, and the scenery is also very good. If you haven't been there before and enjoy outdoor activities, you can give it a try.
