New Zealand potter Len Castle's works feature mountains, rivers, stars, and the spirit of nature...

When instinct and conscious choice converge, my best work emerges.
- New Zealand potter Len Castle (1924-2011)

You will never know what your ten years later self will do…
Just like potter Len Castle, he was a science teacher at a New Zealand school until 1947, when he came across pottery making by chance, and became deeply fascinated by it.
He didn't dedicate himself to pottery until 1963, after abandoning his years of work.
His experiences traveling had a great influence on his works,

Furthermore, his background in science kept him with an endless curiosity for the world,
Especially for nature.
And these influences permeated his clay.
