Haven't Visited These Attractions, So I Haven't Truly Experienced Fuzhou
Three Lanes and Seven Courtyards
Three Lanes and Seven Courtyards is located in the center of Fuzhou, which is the general term for the ten lanes arranged on the two sides of Nan Hou Street from north to south. 'Three Lanes' are: Clan Dignity Lane, Literature and Scholar Lane, and Guanglu Lane. 'Seven Courtyards' are: Yangqiao Lane, Langguan Lane, Anmin Lane, Huang Lane, Ta Lane, Gong Lane, and Jiupi Lane.
Golden Temple
Seven or eight hundred years ago, people built a seven-story, eight-level solid tower on this small hill, about 7 meters high, made of granite. Later, halls were built around the tower. The current Golden Temple is a reconstruction from 1934. Due to the terrain, the temple has no majestic halls and huge Buddha statues, but the exquisitely crafted architecture reflects in the water, which is particularly elegant.
Fuzhou Yun Ding
The Yun Ding Scenic Area is located in the Qingyun Mountain peak in Yuetai County, Fujian Province, with peaks at an altitude of over 1000 meters, with 7 peaks at an altitude of over 1130 meters. The scenic area is composed of 5 tourist zones: Flower Sea Terrace, Sky Pool Grass Field, Emerald Valley, Red River Valley, and Colorful Waterfall.
Lou Star Tower
The Lou Star Tower Mountain has now been developed into a park, and the most important attraction in the park is the Lou Star Tower located at the top of Lou Star Mountain, which is a landmark building. The Lou Star Tower is said to have been built in the Southern Song Dynasty, and was painted on Zheng He's nautical charts in the early Ming Dynasty. Since then, it has become a globally recognized landmark, known as 'China's Tower', and is a landmark of the Min River.
Fuzhou National Forest Park
Fuzhou National Forest Park, also known as Fuzhou Botanical Garden, is the first national-level forest park in Fujian Province and one of the top ten forest parks in China. It is located in the suburbs of Fuzhou, in Chaqiao Village, Xin De Town.
Gushan
Gushan Scenic and Historic Interest Area is located on the north bank of the Min River in the eastern suburbs of Fuzhou, which can be considered one of the most famous scenic areas in Fuzhou. Because the peak has a huge stone that makes a rumbling sound when the wind and rain are combined, it is named Gushan.
West Lake Park
West Lake Park is located in the northwest part of Fuzhou City. It has a history of over 1700 years and is the most complete classical garden preserved in Fuzhou.
Lin Zexu Memorial Hall
The Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was built in the 31st year of the Guangxu Emperor, located on Macao Road in Gulou District, near Three Lanes and Seven Courtyards. Entering the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, the horizontal on the left and right sides of the stone archways read 'Zong Gong Zong Gun' and 'Left Sea Great Man'.
Guling Scenic Area
Guling Scenic Area is located on the top of Gushan and Gulin Town, Jinan District, Fuzhou, with an altitude of more than 800 meters, known as 'Little Mount Lu'. Its area is about 24 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 750 meters to 800 meters, and the highest altitude is 998 meters, which is the first defense line of Fuzhou.
