How are the Five-Star Airlines Overseas? After Comparison, Everything is Good, Except the Food is Terrible
From Brisbane, I took a train to the Gold Coast, and spent a few days in the Gold Coast before heading to Sydney. The date was January 26th. I upgraded to business class through a Qantas auction email, which was great! Finally, I could experience business class!
I took a taxi from the Gold Coast to the airport, which took about half an hour. Thirty minutes in Australia is already a long distance. I had to wait in line at the self-service check-in counter, not very crowded.
Qantas invited me to upgrade, which included a lounge and a full set of business class benefits. Buying it directly would be super expensive. The Qantas Business Lounge is okay, the food isn’t very palatable, but you can make your own sandwiches, there’s a coffee bar, and there’s a barista who makes coffee – it reminded me of Southern Airlines’ Guangzhou lounge with tea artists, but they’re never seen, regarding the wine, it’s never seen. It’s worth mentioning that the lounge is very quiet, which is suitable for business.

Qantas Club is located on the left turn after security.

No priority boarding, everyone boards by walking, welcome drinks are only water.

The Qantas seats are more comfortable than domestic ones, the service is good, after all, it’s a five-star airline haha. After take-off, within 10 minutes, the cabin service started, which is amazing in China, they probably would have been fined. Also, Qantas 738 allows internet access, hoping that China will also popularize it soon.

The seat arrangement is 2-2, with 3 rows.

Safety briefing card scanned.
The meal options are 4, I forgot the other three, I chose the chicken rice, the chicken is okay, the rice is not good, the bread is too hard, fortunately, the scenery outside the plane is beautiful, making up for the shortcomings of the meal.

Seat, preparing for taxiing.
JetStar across the aisle.

Chicken rice, the rice is not good, and the bread is hard to chew.

Beautiful aerial view.
Overall, the upgrade experience was pretty good, I give Qantas a thumbs up!
