Historically and Modernly Connected: Chatting by the Seaside in Tianjin About 50 Cents ('Ganghu')
Tianjin, a pearl on the banks of the Haihe River. However, history, modern, Western and Chinese blended together, ancient and modern compatible, just like the 'Greater China' (Beijing), Tianjin's exotic and traditional charm are perfectly fused, showcasing a unique and distinctive blend of beauty. Angie was fortunately invited to experience a truly immersive Tianjin journey, indulging in a mix of eating, drinking and playing. Of course, Heaven's Gate (Tiantan) is a must-visit, after all, it's where her brother studied many years ago.

Heaven's Gate (Tiantan)
"Nine River's Bottom Tianjin Wei, Three Bridges and Two Gates," due to its geographical location, Tianjin has become a place where various figures hide and dwell or conceal themselves in the past. The last emperor Pu Yi, Liang Qixue, Cao Yu, Sun Yat-sen and many other famous figures all lived in Tianjin. Those segments of history are imprinted on each brick and tile of the old residence.

Tianjin's Italian Style Street is located on the Haihe River bank in Hexi District, Tianjin, and it is currently the largest and best-preserved Italian architectural complex in Asia. Pu Yi's old residence, Jing Garden, is located here. Pu Yi, as everyone knows, the last emperor of China and the 'Greater China' (Beijing) emperor, surname AiXinJue Luo. He was proclaimed emperor at the age of 3 in 1908, with the reign name 'Suntong.'

Pu Yi was escorted to Tianjin by Japanese police officers in February 1925, and moved to Jing Garden in 1927 where he lived for four years and observed the changes around him. The garden is beautiful and surrounded by flower walls, and the decoration is exquisite. The main buildings are two brick and wood-structure small buildings with curved corridors and long halls, which are quiet and serene. What's interesting is the ticket, which is simple but has great collection value.

Tianjin is a city with stories, containing history and modern impact. The existence of 'Tianjin Eye' just gives Tianjin a different modern atmosphere. Tianjin Eye, as soon as I arrived in Tianjin, I saw it from afar, a cross-river landmark connecting Hexi District and Hongqiao District, it is a landmark with sightseeing and traffic functions, and it is the only Ferris wheel built on a bridge in Asia. Many people joked that couples taking pictures at Tianjin Eye are likely to be cursed with a breakup, however Angie, even until now, is still a single person, so this curse cannot be verified, hahaha~

The accumulation of time gives Tianjin a unique charm, and different cultures are inherited here. In Chengdu, you can watch face changing performances and listen to Sichuan opera. When you come to the 'City of Art Performances', you can't miss listening to crosstalk and washing your ears. Tianjin crosstalk is characterized by satire, passionate and humorous, with the ability to tell jokes. 'Eight roles, four tones, eight sounds, a thousand words, one thousand tones, ten thousand sounds, a thousand styles, a thousand voices, a thousand voices' embodies the essence of crosstalk art. On stage, a wooden block, an unfolded fan, and one or two actors dressed in long robes and horse-riding boots, one joke after another. The audience responded enthusiastically, laughing and crying, and they would often shout 'Yihh…' This is a truly authentic scene in the small tea houses of Tianjin. In addition to Tianjin snacks, there are countless delicious dishes, such as Tianjin steamed buns and 'Dog Doesn't Eat Bun' buns~

Tianjin steamed buns are really delicious, I like them anyway
In short, history, modern, seaside Tianjin, is truly a city where you can chat about five hundred cents of 'ganghu' when you come.

Tianjin people's crosstalk accents are innate
