The Easternmost Shengshan Island in China Offers Superb Sunrises and Sunsets
A person went to Shengshan Island, the easternmost of China in October, and encountered a super typhoon. He witnessed shooting stars, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, ate seafood until he was full, and made friends with people in the hostel. He also completed his portfolio fieldwork. Originally, he was supposed to go with a friend, but the first time he booked the boat and hotel, the typhoon was cancelled, so he could only go alone. On the first day to Shengshan Island, after getting off the boat, he took a public bus directly to his accommodation. After getting off the bus, he had to pass by a beautiful beach.
At the accommodation, he saw maps of several nearby islands, which were very cute. On the way to the accommodation, he met someone with the same destination as him, and he got to know the (inn owner) while eating at the inn. He took a photo of him staying on the beach when he first arrived. Later, a typhoon started, and the waves were directly photographed on the road. As soon as he stepped out, he felt like he was blown away. The typhoon just happened to pass through the island, and we even booked a 2 am alarm to watch the typhoon. It was really shocking, and the power of nature only evoked awe.
The two days during the typhoon, he didn't go out much, just blowing the sea breeze (the typhoon). He played games with islanders who came to travel. On National Day, he was stuck in the typhoon weather, and the inn owner raised the flag in front of the inn, and everyone watched the parade live broadcast. Seafood noodles, delicious, he shot materials for his design assignment while filming in the unmanned village. This village was originally a bustling village, but because of the inconvenience of transportation, wealthy people gradually moved away. This village, which stretches three mountains, became a deserted village. Plus, it faces the sea, and plants wildly climb onto the buildings, forming a very wild beauty.
It's really beautiful, and you need to take your time to explore. He watched the sunrise at Dongya Cliff, and the sunrise the day after the typhoon was too beautiful. He got up at 4:30 am to wait for everyone to tidy up. While waiting, he saw shooting stars outside the accommodation. The weather was really good. He ate a lot of seafood, and he felt a bit full. There were many sea rocks, eroded into holes and connected to the sea, with many small crabs inside. It was a short trip of three or four days to a small island, and everyone was engaged in fishing.
He walked around several beaches and several rocks, where people cooked shrimp, and the taste was very heavy. On the way, some people were repairing fishing nets, and everyone rode electric scooters while blowing the sea breeze. This ordinary life state is something that a child who grew up in Southwest China has never experienced, which is a strange feeling. Before going, he definitely checked the weather. If it's cloudy, rain and typhoons often cause cancellations, and normal ships leave the island for (Shenjiaban) at around 1:30 pm. When the wind is level 8 or above, they cancel the trip. Before traveling, he first booked a trip on Mabuhwa.
