Part of the Badaling Great Wall Partially Reopens: Mask Wearing Required for All Visitors

Xinhua News Agency, March 22, (Song Yu sheng) On March 22, the 'Orderly Restored Opening Announcement of Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area' was released. Starting from March 24, 2020, the scenic area will be opened in an orderly manner. Currently, only the northern six-story to the southern five-story section of Badaling Great Wall is open, with designated tour routes after arrival. Other areas of Badaling Great Wall, Shanquan Great Wall, Ancient Great Wall, and the China Great Wall Museum are currently closed. Tourists must make a real-name appointment and purchase tickets, and the scenic area will control traffic at 30% of the best carrying capacity. Tourists arriving at the scenic area should proactively show their 'health code' and pass body temperature detection before entering; all tourists must wear masks during the entire tour and are prohibited from gathering in groups, maintaining a distance of more than 1 meter.
