Aitegulai Mosque is located on the west side of Aitegulai Square, Kashgar City, and was built in 1468 during the Ming Dynasty.

It was expanded three times in 1537, 1787 and 1873, making the temple's north and south about 140 meters long and 120 meters wide, with a total area of 1.68 hectares,

The entire temple consists of a main hall, a lecture hall, a bathing hall, courtyards, an archway and a bell tower, and the gatehouse is 12 meters high with multi-faceted dome and two 20-meter brick column towers on either side.

It is currently one of the largest mosques in China.
