New Landmark in Sanya: Atlantis - A Hub for Dining, Entertainment, and Leisure
Although the beginning of 2020 wasn't as beautiful as it could have been, thankfully spring has arrived, and those cold times are slowly fading away with the coming of the spring breeze. Just like the shadows in life, they will eventually dissipate with the arrival of the sun.
Sanya is known as the ‘Oriental Hawaii’, boasting attractions such as Yalong Bay, Tianya Haijiao, Sizihua Island, and Wukong Island. The average annual temperature here is 25 degrees, so no matter when you come or where you come from, Sanya will always embrace you with warm sunshine.
Atlantis Sanya Hotel is located in National Coast Haoting Bay, with an area of 540,000 square meters. It is said to be created by more than 80 internationally renowned architectural and design institutions, and its design style integrates Eastern and Western cultural features as well as the local culture of the Qioning Island.
This time, we specially booked Atlantis for our children because it has already been very famous. Since its opening in April 2018, it has quickly become a new benchmark for hotels in Sanya. The thrilling and exciting water facilities, the mysterious aquarium, and the full-sea-view rooms and the colorful underwater world are enough to make us long for it.
Ocean culture is one of the key features of Atlantis. It has a 1.35-million-ton natural lagoon, the Ambassador Reef Lake, which has over 280 freshwater and marine animals. The hotel has a ‘Lost Space’ aquarium, where tourists can watch sharks, seals, jellyfish, barracuda, eels and giant grouper, and other more than 280 species, and they can also participate in diving projects to dance with exotic marine animals.
This is the room we stayed in. We have come to Sanya many times before, and we have stayed in many hotels, but it is the most comfortable and warm feeling for me. Atlantis has 1314 full-sea-view rooms, which are very large and equipped with complete facilities, almost meeting my perfect requirements for hotel accommodation.
There are seven or eight such swimming pools around the hotel, and the water in the swimming pools is heated, the water is clear and very comfortable.
The Atlantis aquarium creates a cool and mysterious underwater world for us. When we enter the aquarium, we can explore the lost world in the changing light and shadow. In the lost world, we can watch sharks, seals, jellyfish, barracuda, eels and giant grouper, which is particularly loved by children.
We waited for the sunrise along a small road outside the hotel at five o’clock in the morning, letting the waves gently hit our feet. Perhaps life should be slow, enjoying all the beautiful moments of encounters.
