Wuhan, we're waiting for you to press play, let's go together to see you and celebrate with you.

Wuhan, also known as Jiangcheng, is the capital of Hubei Province and a sub-provincial-level mega-city in central China. It is the central city of the Central Six Provinces region and the first directly-administered city in China. The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, the first public and combined road and rail bridge built on the Yangtze River between Hanyang's Turtle Mountain and Wuchang's Snake Mountain, is therefore known as the 'First Yangtze River Bridge.' This bridge, which has stood majestically for 60 years of historical vicissitudes, is also a landmark building of Wuhan. At night, the dazzling light show on the Yangtze River illuminates the beauty of the city. However, now there are no bustling crowds, no lively noise; the Yangtze River Bridge sees few of the ten-foot-high lights. The whole city seems to have been put on pause. Wuhan, we will wait for you temporarily.

Towering majestically on Wuchang's Snake Mountain, the Yellow Crane Tower enjoys the renowned title of 'the best view in the world,' alongside the Dangyang Tower in Hunan and the Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi, forming the 'Three Famous Towers of the South.' It is now a national 5A-level scenic spot. Today, it reflects Cui Hao's 'Yellow Crane Tower' even more brilliantly: 'Yesterday's travelers have already ridden the yellow crane away, here only the Yellow Crane Tower remains. The yellow crane goes away and never returns, white clouds for thousands of years, endlessly drifting.' Do you still remember the breathtaking beauty of the Yellow Crane Tower at night? 'We see the high priest sitting in meditation, the glazed eaves like the yellow crane spreading its wings.' Looking at the ancient temple in the night, its magnificent and brilliant appearance.

In early March, the cherry blossoms at Wuhan University are in bloom, this is the season for Wuhan University. Every year, the cherry blossoms bloom, and it is the best place to admire them – on Lion Mountain and in front of the Old Zhai House – the famous 'Cherry Blossom Avenue.' When the cherry blossoms bloom in early spring, the (Kun Peng Square) around it becomes a cherry blossom sea. A gentle breeze blows, and the petals flutter, stunning the times. In this historic academy with deep roots and buildings in a rustic style, 1000+ cherry trees bloom in the wind, and every blooming spot becomes a beautiful scenery hidden in the eye. Waiting for the cherry blossoms to bloom in March, everything will be alright.

In the past, the bustling and congested streets, Wuhan people wake up early to queue for a hot dry-noodles – a local specialty beloved throughout China. The duck necks are also loved by people all over the country. This lively scene has been temporarily hidden. I was lucky to participate in it in the past, but now the quiet scene is heartbreaking. However, we haven't been defeated. Everyone is using their own strength to make the city run normally, doctors and nurses rushing to the front lines like heroes, bearing the hope of the people; everyone is doing the right thing, because this hope is for things to get better. Without the past dazzling light show, the lights in hospitals, along the streets, and in every household are also beautiful, illuminating Wuhan's nights and illuminating the road ahead.
