Seeking Moonlight Reflections on Lotus Ponds at Qiyuan Fenghe in West Lake
''

As everyone knows, this poem is used to depict the lotus flowers of West Lake. From the poem, it is not difficult to see that the lotus leaves are large and plump, one after another clustered together, and the lotus flowers stand out due to the backdrop of these green leaves. The lotus in West Lake is also famous for its tenderness and beauty. In my opinion, not only the West Lake in summer, but the entire Hangzhou in summer is beautiful and lovely.
You must definitely come to Hangzhou in summer to see West Lake. The water in West Lake is the clearest in this season, green and makes one feel like entering a trance, like a huge piece of jade resting before one's eyes. The willows on the shore sway with the wind, and sometimes their long, hair-like branches reach into the West Lake water, like graceful young women with lowered eyes and slender waists twisting in the wind, dancing with charm and unrestrained style.

The most worth seeing scenery in West Lake during summer is the most famous 'Qiyuan Fenghe' (Curved Courtyard Wind Lotus). One by one, the lotus flowers bloom in the vast lotus leaves, like a group of shy little girls hiding their beautiful faces behind the lotus leaves, appearing and disappearing, teasing one's heartstrings.

Qiyuan Fenghe is located on the west side of West Lake, close to Yuefei Temple (Martyr's Temple). It is said that during the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a government distillery here, due to the Jinsha River flowing into West Lake,
—water taken from the Jinsha River was used for brewing wine, and the resulting wine was renowned throughout the country and enjoyed by many. And right beside this distillery was a pond,

Every summer, the water surface of the pond is full of vibrant lotus flowers. When a gentle breeze blows, the air is filled with the fragrance of lotus flowers, and one can also see the lotus flowers swaying in the wind, so this landscape is known to people as 'Qiyuan Fenghe'

Imagine, in the scorching summer, even the sound of cicadas seems particularly anxious, while the breeze on West Lake always carries a coolness, mixed with the refreshing fragrance of lotus flowers. Who would not yearn to be here?
Actually, the scene of Qiyuan Fenghe has existed for many years, but at that time it was only a small area within West Lake, not so-called a genuine name. But after years of renovation and expansion, now Qiyuan Fenghe has a wide area, from the Pavilion at the Bridge, along the Jinsha River and Yuehu (Yuefei Temple) to Wolong Bridge outside, forming five scenic areas: Yuehu, Zuxu Garden, Fenghe, Qiyuan and the Lakeside Forest District.

So don't think that Qiyuan Fenghe is just a few lotus flowers on the surface of West Lake. It's a very charming park!

When we enter the Qiyuan Fenghe scenic area, we admire the scenery in order. First in sight is the wide and vast Yuehu Lake, the water ripples in the wind, like a mother's hand gently stroking the water,
In the sunshine, the water surface is sparkling, as beautiful as a painting. Yuehu Lake is surrounded by dense forests, it's like a crystal-clear lake surrounded by layer upon layer of lush forests.

When the wind stops, I quietly approached Yuehu Lake. At this time, it's like a sleeping baby, with a translucent face full of smiles. This peaceful and serene scene cannot but make one feel extremely comfortable,
Since the name is 'Qiyuan Fenghe', we must see the 'Fenghe' (Wind Lotus) itself. The lotus flowers in the water are of different sizes and varieties. If you observe carefully, you will find that some lotus flowers have subtle differences in color. These swaying lotus flowers include red lotus, white lotus, double lotus, golden lotus, and pinnate lotus. Red lotus is vibrant, with a bright red color like a hot summer, unrestrained and unrestrained. White lotus is pure white, like a pristine and elegant young woman, fresh and lively. Pinnate lotus looks like a couple in love unwilling to separate, embracing each other tightly. I stood on the bridge and quietly watched the lotus flowers, I thought 'human lotus flowers complement each other' must be such a scene
