Longyan Geological Park is located in the Daitai Mountains and its east and west sides, with a general terrain of east high and west low. The park has more than 1 kilometer of peaks, 70 plus, the highest point is Meiliao Mountain's Dog's Brain, at an altitude of 1811m. The red sandstone landform is distributed in the low-mountain-hill area of the Licheng Basin, obviously controlled by structure and rock properties. The karst landform is distributed in the low mountains of Licheng Laiyuan. The granite egg landform area is located in Meiliao Mountain's main body, with an average altitude of 900m or more. Zixing Mountain is located in the south segment of the Wuyi Mountains and the south segment of the Daitai Mountains, in a relatively independent, surrounded by hill valleys and river basins. The sandstone landform is located in the low mountains of Huanglianyu, with its main peak Rock Top Mountain at an altitude of 1807m, the second highest peak in.

Longyan Geological Park is located in the new district of Niuxu, Shanghan County and Licheng County, with abundant water resources, belonging to the Shahe River, Ting Jiang, and Jiulong River systems. The water quality of each system is good and stable, reaching the standard. Longyan Geological Park belongs to the subtropical to tropical monsoon climate of south Asia, with a mild climate and abundant sunshine. The annual average temperature is about 19.1℃, and the annual effective sunshine hours are 1979. Spring is rainy and humid; summer is concentrated rainstorms; typhoons invade frequently, bringing short-duration, high-intensity local rainstorms. The annual rainfall is 1100-2800mm, mainly concentrated in the flood season 4-9 months, accounting for 78.0% of the annual rainfall.
