I didn't see the ancient city atmosphere in Ancient City, only seeing renovated shops.
Is worth visiting? I was fortunate to have visited once, and I personally thought it was okay. I returned to the inn around 5 pm to rest and then went out to find food. I wanted to try some local specialties, so I looked for ways to find them and discovered that only beef noodles, Bo-Pinyin Vinegar, and Zhang Fei beef were available. I then bought a pie and cold noodles on the pedestrian street, which was generally not very tasty and the price was a bit expensive at 15 yuan. However, considering it was in an ancient city, I could understand. Continuing to stroll along the pedestrian street, I arrived at the Jialing River for a cruise. The ticket price was 50 yuan, with no student discounts. However, I bought the ticket from the inn owner for 40 yuan, and the time listed on it was 8:30 to 9:30.

Later, the ticketing personnel told me that the time didn't matter, so we boarded the boat around 7:30. The boat was quite crowded, and we stayed for about half an hour. On the way back to the inn, we passed by Huatianlou. After returning, the owner recommended that we try a shop opposite, saying that guests from the inn could get a 50% discount. I felt that this was just their trick, and probably everyone got a 50% discount. I don't think there would be much practical use, but given that we had walked too much today, I still soaked my feet. I suggest trying something cheaper to see if it works. Finally, I returned to the inn to rest.
After waking up the next day, I looked at the recommendations on Little Red Book and decided to try beef noodles again. The location was easy to find, and the noodles should be authentic. However, they still didn't suit my taste. I thought they were too soft, and my companion said they were too greasy. In the end, we ended with buying a box of steamed dumplings (I personally thought steamed dumplings were also mediocre), and we took a taxi to Jinping Mountain, arriving around 8:30. We found that Jinping Mountain was combined with Nanzhenguan Ancient Town, so we decided to go to Jinping Mountain first. The ticket price was 20 yuan with a student discount. As my companion had foot pain, we decided to take the sightseeing car. The car went for only a few minutes and was quite slow. Then the driver told us that we had arrived and that there were four attractions around here. After visiting them, we returned to here to take the car down. I felt cheated, saying that there were so many attractions, but I only realized later that many were under repair, and some attractions had disappeared. We could only go to Lilao Lake, the Stele Grove, Dushu Ling and a pavilion. This made me realize that those so-called attractions were just, even though we went to Dushu Ling, it was just many large rooms with poems and paintings of Du Fu on the walls. I could have just looked it up on Baidu.

Disappointed, we left Jinping Mountain and went to Nanzhenguan Ancient Town, which was also mediocre. After browsing, it was not until 11 o'clock that we realized the time was up and we couldn't book tickets to go home. It was a small amusement park for children that I quite liked. Two of us spent about 670 yuan, which wasn't expensive. The prices here were not high, but I felt disappointed. The scenery was generally mediocre, and the food was mediocre, and I didn't feel the ancient city atmosphere that some people talked about. I only saw one after another renovated shops and man-made traces, and fictitious attractions. Overall, I don't recommend it. I'm not trying to belittle this place. As a person from Chengdu, I think it's unnecessary to go far to see Luo Dai Ancient Town. After all, most ancient towns are similar. If you have any questions, please point them out.
