Note: Wuxi City Lingshan Scenic Area is located on the banks of Lake Tai in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, with an area of about 30 hectares. It is composed of Xiao Lingshan, Xiangfu Zen Temple, Lingshan Grand Buddha, the First Palm, Baizi Play Maitreya, Buddhist Culture Exhibition Hall, Wanfo Hall, Wu Yin Tancheng and Jiu Long Guan Yu Mu. Wuxi City Lingshan Scenic Area integrates lake scenery, mountain scenery, gardens, squares, Buddhist culture and historical knowledge. It is one of the most complete and unique Buddhist culture theme parks showcasing the achievements of Shakyamuni. The history of Lingshan dates back to more than 1000 years ago during the Tang Dynasty. It is said that Xuanzang returned from the West to take the monk and traveled to Southeast Asia, came to Xiao Lingshan, saw 'layer upon layer of lush mountains and streams', which was highly praised, and said 'it is like Lingzhai in Western Zhou Kingdom'! Xiao Lingshan Temple was gradually developed from this. The Lingshan Grand Buddha, located at the southern foot of Xiao Lingshan, has a base of three layers, with a total height of 111.5 meters. The Lingshan Grand Buddha's eyes look down, with wise and kind eyes.
