Anshun, Guizhou Province, is known as 'China's Waterfall Town,' 'Town and Fort Culture Town,' 'Indigo-dyed Cloth Town,' and 'Western Beauty'.
Anshun City has a long and rich history, being one of the earliest counties with administrative centers established in Guizhou Province. In 2000, Anshun was established as a prefecture-level city. Anshun is located in the watershed area of the Wu River system of the Yangtze River and the Beipan River system of the Pearl River, a typical karst landform concentration area in the world, and a Chinese excellent tourist city. Anshun City has a subtropical monsoon climate, with famous attractions such as Anshun Dragon Palace and ZiYun GeCu River (Purple Cloud Ridge River).
