Magnificent Primitive Wild Apricot Groves – Tuergen, Ili Yili, Xinjiang
Yili Xinghua Gou, located at the foot of the Awulale Mountains in the Ili River Valley. It belongs to Xuwen County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Tuergen Township. It is a piece of ancient apricot groves left over from the Middle Ages. It is concentrated on the banks of the Gong'ai River and the Sikas River, covering an area of 30,000 acres. In mid-to-late April, apricot blossoms begin to bloom, with trees and bushes of pink apricot blossoms spreading everywhere, presenting both a majestic and grand scene, and a solitary and charming scene.
