Summer Vacation Trip to Beijing (Forbidden City, - Yihua Yuan)
In August vacation this year, the child's previous homework was almost finished, so I took the opportunity to bring the child for a quick trip to Beijing.

First, we visited the Forbidden City, which was the imperial office of the Ming and Qing dynasties and one of the few royal architectural complexes in the world. We took a photo in front of Tiananmen Square to experience the greatness of the country.
After leaving the Forbidden City, we originally planned to visit the National History Museum, but it was too crowded, with three layers inside and three layers outside, so we gave up.

Next, we went to the area around Tsinghua and Peking Universities to let the child feel the cultural atmosphere of China's top universities. There were souvenirs of Tsinghua and Peking University on the street, which we bought as mementos. We ended the first day's itinerary by resting in a nearby hotel. I suggest bringing some frequently used medications when traveling, as the family members had discomfort due to the local climate.

The second day, we went to the Summer Palace. It is highly recommended to visit, and it is said to have been built to use naval construction funds for Empress Dowager Cixi's birthday. It is a masterpiece of Chinese royal gardens. The scenery changes step by step, and it is a rare place that can be painted.

After leaving the Summer Palace, we took the child to Yuanming Garden to educate him about patriotism. The garden has a Yuanming Garden monster head exhibition, which allows the child to understand the country's past and experience the happiness of the present.

We originally wanted to visit the actual Long Scroll Dam, but the actual distance was too far, and the family and children were tired, so we gave up. If you want to go, you should go when you are not tired or take a boat. It is exhausting to visit two gardens in one day.
