Ma'anshan, Anhui: 'Ecological Living Room' Spring Scenery
One river, two banks, more greenery, 'ecological living room' full of spring light. Here you have sunrise and sunset scenery, here you have a myriad of spring colors.
In Yangzilin, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, the boardwalk extending through the reed fields has been resumed construction. By May of this year, this 'emerald' jewel embedded on the banks of the Yangtze River, with 3000 acres of the coastal ecological wetland, will be presented to citizens, becoming a leisure and viewing spot for citizens.
Don't say spring light is hard to grasp, the sunny days in Xiajiuwa. In the north of Yangzilin, is the 'internet celebrity' attraction opened in the second half of last year: Xiajiuwa ecological tour park. In spring, the Yangtze River flows eastward, a vast expanse of color, lush grass and pink willows, the tour park path is winding and charming, like a flower garden.
However, this Jiangnan landscape, once a place of illegal construction, fishing boat gathering, and trash-strewn, has undergone a transformation through demolition of illegal structures, remediation, greening, and fishermen moving ashore – a 'three strengths, one action' special tackling campaign. Xiajiuwa has achieved a transformation from a place everyone avoided to a place that integrates river viewing, ecology, research, and culture into one ecological tour park, becoming a brilliant green gem on the Yangtze River in spring.
Connecting points, stunning transformation. Chenjiawus, Jinjiang Windscenery Belt, Jinjiang Cultural Park, Jinjiang Ecological Wetland, and Xiajiuwa Ecological Tour Park, like a cluster of green pearls, are linked along the 23 kilometers of the Yangtze River coastline east of Ma'anshan, becoming a city 'ecological living room' with beautiful scenery and close proximity to the water.
Since 2019, as an important part of the 'three strengths, one action' special tackling campaign for the Yangtze River ecological environment governance, Ma'anshan City decided to implement the comprehensive remediation of the Yangtze River east coast, closely around 'Yangtze River Scenic Display Area, Yangtze River Wetland Ecological Nourishment Area, and Urban Life Integration Area' positioning, forming an 'axis and five zones' spatial structure, further optimizing the Yangtze River industrial layout, creating ecological landscapes in accordance with local conditions, and creating a green landscape along the Yangtze River with ecological naturalness, openness, depth, and cultural richness, providing citizens with a lakeside viewing experience and an ecological natural city 'ecological living room'.
Awakening and blossoming, tasting all things in spring.
