The Beijing Phoenix Ridge Scenic Area is known as the ‘Green Lung’ of the Capital. It is said that the negative ions are 150 times higher than those in the city. The entrance faces southeast, carved on a flat, pot-shaped granite flower bed, and there are three immortals carved in it, all about half a meter tall, kneeling on their knees, upright and dignified, with a smiling face, with ears hanging on their shoulders. There are three on the left wall, two on the right wall, three men and two women, the men’s hands are vertical to the navel, and the women are standing with their hands clasped together, with the same height and sitting posture. The different forms of stone carvings of the immortals inside the cave reflect the artistic achievements of the Liao and Jin dynasties. There is a special S-shaped stone trough inside the cave. When it rains, the rainwater will flow into the cave and then flow out. This not only purifies the air inside the cave but also prevents the erosion of the wall carvings. The immortals in it have different degrees of human damage, but the overall posture is still lifelike.
It is very suitable for viewing red leaves in autumn. Most tourists are attracted to Camphor Mountain at this time, and this place has become a niche viewing spot.
