Would You Choose Positive Suffering?
I'm willing to talk about suffering, and that doesn't mean I'm a masochist. In fact, I believe negative suffering can be beneficial to a person. If I have a headache, the first thing I do is take two strong painkillers. I completely don't believe that simple tension headaches have any benefits.
However, there is a kind of suffering that is positive. The difference between them is: positive suffering is a suffering that must be endured in life; while negative suffering, like a headache, should be avoided as much as possible.

I like to define the above two types of suffering as 'neurogenic suffering' and 'existential suffering'. For example, when children grow up and leave home to start their own lives, parents will feel a great deal of pain. After years of close companionship, the sudden departure of their children will make parents feel lonely, lost, and sad. But we must endure this pain, just like physical and mental pain, which can be incredibly intense, and sometimes even harder to bear, but we must face it; only through these experiences can we gradually move towards maturity.
