Rain in the Heart
I remember a renowned figure once said that he loved driving in the rain, listening to music, and slowly cruising down deserted roads. I also enjoy that feeling – even though the car is driving through the rain curtain, I can still enjoy the soothing and peacefulness within a warm and comfortable vehicle. At that moment, I feel like a tiny sprout hidden within an eggshell, fragile yet protected by a barrier created by the Creator.
It's now March, and under the nourishing spring rain, the earth is quietly changing its clothes. The drizzly, misty days, with a blurred distance, make me even more fond of them. Blur, is a different kind of beauty, it exudes both the shyness of holding an umbrella and a poetic, picturesque scenery. You can quietly stand by the weeping willows, letting the gentle breeze brush through your thoughts, or stare blankly at the lake surface, trying to discern the reflection, or even fantasize about the woman across the lake – is she an angel from another world?
But I especially love June, because it's a rainy season. I love standing by the window on a torrential rainy day, watching the raindrops splashing water on the playground, or listening to the crisp sound of raindrops beating against bamboo leaves, letting the solidified heart be struck into fragments, dissolving in the white-gray rain. All worries, with that crackling sound of rain, transform into a joyful song. At that time, take a short nap accompanied by the rain, it is also a pleasure, perhaps what awaits you is a long-awaited dream.
If there were no thunder, I yearn to step into the torrential rain curtain, running alone on an empty plain, or walking along a straight road without a purpose or direction, simply enjoying this natural shower! Let these falling waters, no matter where they come from, flow down your long hair, along your cheeks, and flow into your heart, washing away the dust and burdens of your body and mind, and finally intoxicating yourself.
I think, this is also a baptism! The highest-level baptism!
If one day you are tired and frustrated, why not on such a rainy day, let yourself completely, completely, let the water flow into your heart, if your heart is sour, it is the taste of rain!
