Don't sit on someone else's bed.
When toasting with others at a banquet, your own glass should always be lower than theirs, especially if they are elders or superiors.
Bring an umbrella when it’s sunny, and bring dry food when it’s rainy – be prepared.
If someone doesn't answer you, don't keep asking persistently.
Try not to make noise while eating.
When picking things up or putting on shoes, squat down instead of bending over.
When someone criticizes you, even if they are wrong, don't argue immediately. Wait for everyone to calm down before explaining.
Do things within reasonable limits, whether it's indulging in your favorite food or losing your temper.
When receiving guests, be generous, but when managing your household, be modest.
A strong fist is for a more powerful counterattack.
Learn to endure – it’s better than being overwhelmed.
Don’t reveal your true thoughts; smile in public, and cry in private.
Keep your hands in your pockets.
Simplify complex tasks, and complicate simple tasks.
Opportunities only come to those who are prepared – don’t expect things to fall into your lap.
Brush your teeth carefully, especially at night.
Eat breakfast, or at least drink a glass of water.
Don’t spread rumors or create trouble.
Women should pay when going out with men.
Take responsibility for your actions and don’t blame others – think before you do, and solve problems yourself.
If you want to be respected, you must first suffer.
