The 7 Life Hurdles: How Many Have You Overcome?
How many ‘life’s seven hurdles’ have you cleared?

In a lifetime, there is both from nothing to something, and from something to nothing! This long and long life journey seems very long, day by day, in fact it’s very short. Different stages, different insights, for most people, every ten years, you need to cross one hurdle.
However, the world always has two sides, there is gain, there is loss, there is gathering, there is scattering. What should you give up? What should you grasp?
10 years old:
Wipe away tears, abandon comparison
There’s a saying: we cannot decide where we come from, but we can decide where we go. The 10-year-old you and me are no longer childhood, we’ve reached the age of understanding, and we should give up comparing ourselves to others.
I wish you understand your parents’ hardships, give up comparison, and learn to strive!
20 years old:
Learn to take responsibility, plan for the future
What truly makes us grow isn’t age, but experience. The teenage years may make you account for your background, or compare yourself to others’ parents’ careers.
But by 20, you’ve already begun to transform from a fledgling eagle, you must give up reliance on your parents and start planning for your future, even if you stumble and fall, you must learn to soar!
30 years old:
Start a family and build a business, work diligently
As time goes by, youthful exuberance fades, you will inevitably learn to plan your life. At 30, starting a family and building a business is a mature age, no matter what you’ve experienced, don’t forget your dreams.
When it comes to feelings, you will eventually understand that quiet companionship and shared meals are warmer than sweet words, and steady company is more reassuring than fleeting romance. Simple meals and everyday life bring more peace of mind than passionate feelings.
40 years old:
Speak less, do more, have a clear sense of purpose
At 40, you’ve seen the grandeur of life, experienced the refinement of life, at this time, you’ve fully recognized yourself. Don’t let others influence you. Other people's mouths can't control you, your own road, use your own heart. I hope 40-year-olds can accept their unexceptional life, accept life’s occasional setbacks, and live a brilliant moment!
50 years old:
Be tolerant of losses, let things go
At fifty, what’s there to be unhappy about or resentful of? At this age, you should have a broad perspective and understand human nature. Don’t complain about injustice, don’t be overly critical of losses.
A person should live for themselves – it’s the best way to live. Life should be full and happy, cherish every moment!
60 years old:
Have a broad mind, be willing to let go
At 60, there’s nothing to regret. Your grandchildren will have their own lives, and everyone needs to go their own way. Don’t interfere too much. Retirement doesn’t mean you have nothing to do – find joy in life, and take care of your health.
Don’t worry about wealth, earn as much as you can, and spend what you earn. Don’t worry about success or failure – if you’re tired, take a break.
70 years old:
Be happy inside, please yourself
When you’re 70, life is wasted, don’t be angry, don’t be upset, just live happily! At this age, don’t think too much about family matters, don’t worry about trivial family affairs. Think more for yourself.
For the whole family, you’ve spent a lifetime worrying about it. I hope you can consider yourself more at 70, and maintain a positive attitude, and learn to please yourself.
Ten years is one hurdle, how many have you cleared? Life is about growth, time will always pass, no one can stop it. We can only try our best in each stage.
People with great wisdom know what to do and what not to do, know what to seek and what not to seek, know what age to do what things. On the road of life, I hope you have confidence to chase your dreams, and the ability to let go. I hope you can accept the storms and hardships, and have the courage to bear the loss.
Ten years is one hurdle, I hope you step calmly, and get better and better!
