Life is a Dream, Who Can Drink Together?
Life is like a dream, coming and going, departing and returning, who can accompany you to drink a lifetime together? Many people come and go, disappearing without a trace. Sometimes we always fantasize about that one person returning to our side, fantasizing about a future with them, but in the end, it's always just us alone.
Some of us think that meeting someone is fate, and some of us think we can use our entire lifetime of charm to keep them by our side, believing we can hold a significant position in their hearts. But in the end, we only realize that those were all self-deceptions. Perhaps meeting is just a dream in youth; we want to drink a lifetime together, but in the end, we only find ourselves stranded in their lives.
We often think about how we want a person to accompany us through life, to find someone who loves us, to find companionship, to banish our lonely nights. But we discover that finding such a person in life is extremely rare. Perhaps the person we desperately chased, believing she was the one, ultimately, we remain alone, drinking.
Life is finite; who will drink with you? Perhaps it's fate, or perhaps it's fate playing tricks on us. Before the person who can drink with you appears, we're already tired, and our hearts are weary. We lose the courage to love and search for that person. Some people become memories as they walk away, turning into endless nostalgia. Perhaps we were too sentimental, relentlessly searching for the drinker who was meant to be part of our lives, and just spectators of life.
Life is like a dream; who can drink with you? I've thought about being a solitary person, and I told myself to let go of everything. But gradually, I realized that if a person doesn't have anyone to drink with them for a lifetime, it would be incredibly lonely. Therefore, searching for someone to drink with you is a very happy and lucky thing. Perhaps like those who have been missed, we are destined to miss them and need to wait for that person to come and drink with us.
