Poem: Peony Blossoms

Peony blooms
Author: Zhang Haibo (Shandong)
The beauty of peach blossoms is a mistake after another
Yet they are carelessly brushed by the spring wind
Bees rush to defend them
Yet they also succumbed to beauty
Two high mountains envious of each other, covered with lush greenery
A secret is shattered by a bird
Butterflies also arrive from afar
She became the third party with excitement

The stream dreams in hushed whispers
Fish listen in unintentionally
The flower-viewers repeatedly calculate under the trees
Flower blooming, flower falling
And you still don't let it go in your dreams
Wishing to sing with the flowers
Yet you collapse in your own vows
In the red dust
Reciting sutras
