Does ‘courage and ambition’ lead to success? What’s your opinion?
Some say 'courage, ambition, can lead to success.' Do you agree? How do you see it?
I don't completely agree; it should also include 'talent and virtue.' 'Ambition' needs to be modified to 'aspiration,' because 'ambition' implies being unscrupulous and potentially achieving success through dark and illegitimate means, but it's often short-lived. Only 'talent, virtue, aspiration, and courage' – a 'four-in-one' element – plus 'knowing when to act' – selecting the correct direction for personal development offers a hope of reaching the pinnacle of success with talent and virtue.

Human factors are paramount; the most crucial element is a person's innate talent combined with diligent learning and experience. Each generation lives in a different historical era, and 'people's existence determines people's consciousness.' The specific era conveys specific consciousness, shaped by the historical context, the era's living and production methods, and social tasks. Historical progress advances through qualitative changes. Consciousness also undergoes metabolism through the conflict between the progressive and the outdated, driving the progress of history. At certain points, history may accelerate and jump, leading to major historical upheavals.
In today's reality, with new technologies and industries emerging; survival competition is brutal – a process of 'survival of the fittest.'
Talented people 'spring forth like streams and birds awaken like waterfowl.' Those who seize the opportunity and ride the tide become 'trendsetters,' achieving success.
Ordinary people often only dream and wonder how it happened afterward.
Therefore, a person – is limited by the size of the fish they can swim with, if ambition exceeds capabilities, it's a warning sign. Achieving success requires a more cautious approach!
