Seven Short Quatrains • Wandering on a Path Amidst Peach Blossoms
Written by Ko Nan
The east wind dyes the roadside with peach blossoms,Green bamboo and red peach form a rosy cloud.
Good breezes carry fluffy willow catkins,Fragrance permeates everywhere.
I love delicate drizzle,Clothes remain dry, birds sing joyfully,The ox ploughs carefully through rice rows,A washerwoman sings softly while pounding stone,Hearing the urgent decree, a joyful person arrives,Smiling happily, stepping into the countryside,Cherishing the golden spring light, unchanged,Quiet enjoyment, drunk under the moonlight cup,(Wang Yu Li Poetry 2020.3.30.)
