Open Your Heart, Embrace with an Open Arms

After becoming a teacher, I realized that the most innocent and pure moments are spent with children. This is likely one of the reasons I love this profession – I enjoy chatting with them, I love their youthful energy, and I cherish their approachable and intimate conversations. More than that, I love that they will remember me with a happy and excited expression years later, reminiscing about our time together.
I love that they affectionately call me 'Ms. Hou' privately, which is the most direct way to enter their hearts.
I love that when they happen to see me in a casual corner, they excitedly rush over to chat.
I love that in every heartfelt story or essay, they can mention me as their teacher.
I love watching them grow and mature in my classroom, from their initial fear and nervousness to confidence and self-assurance.
I love that they can share our stories with their parents and friends, even a critical comment made during class.
There seem to be so many things I like, and I'm not even sure myself.
Because of this, I hope that when I pass by, I can open my heart and step into their inner worlds.
Thus, the classroom became our biggest stage for communication. I try to unleash as much as possible on this stage, transmitting more knowledge through structured learning for each and every one of them – this has become known as 'Ms. Hou's Secret Techniques'!
Our subtle relationship has transformed and become increasingly strong over time.
From the initial awkwardness and nervousness to becoming close confidantes, like a big sister who understands me so well – this is likely the result of me opening my heart: respect, understanding, aspiration, and love.
After sending off one graduating class after another, I finally realized: it's not that they need me, but I need them. Used to being surrounded by a group of children, accustomed to hearing their joys and sorrows, and working together to strive for success, if I were to leave this stage and these children, I would truly regret it.
Perhaps I should belong to this stage – a stage that allows me to purify my heart and enrich my life.
Never imagining I would leave, just wanting to quietly watch as their aspirations are fulfilled. To grow into their favorite selves, and not regret their youth.
The sky is vast, big enough for wind, rain, and thunder, big enough for thorny bushes, and big enough for abundant harvests. So don't worry, don't hesitate, take a step forward and keep going. If you get tired, come back to look at your life, savor the bitterness and hardship of the journey, and then find the next crossroads and start again. And I, will always be here, waiting for you.
Time is fleeting, life is moving forward, but it will never change my blessings for you. I hope that you can all realize your dreams, keep learning, and persevere.
Let's put our agreement in place when you achieve your dreams – would you like to share your joy and accomplishments with me? Let's witness the joy of striving together.

At that time, I firmly believe: I am the happiest actor on this stage.
Open your heart, embrace it wholeheartedly!
Wait for the flowers to bloom, the spring is fading!
