You are constantly troubled because you 'can't let go'
People live in the mortal world, there are too many disappointments. Wealthy people find it difficult to be idle; those with little money find it hard to endure poverty. Those with knowledge always feel that they are talented but not lucky; those without knowledge are jealous of those with knowledge.
People's troubles are many. In youth, one can eat enough, and the family doesn't worry; but they always live alone. In middle age, there are elders, children, and pressure, making it hard to breathe. When you get old, the family is stable, wealth is abundant, and children are grown up, but the body is not good.
People's hearts have too many desires. During love, some people step on two boats, and complain that they haven't found true love. Not working hard, complaining about low wages; starting a business is difficult, but insisting on it because of money, afraid of being poor for life. They also want to live a hundred years and never die, wanting to borrow another five hundred years. It's like the lyrics 'I want to borrow five hundred years from heaven.'
The reason you're always troubled is because you 'can't let go'.
Once a reader asked me, 'Why are people troubled?' I said, 'Trouble is because of letting go.' Then this reader never contacted me again, thinking I was mocking him for being 'too greedy.' It wasn't like that; I just suggested that readers should let go of their own things and live more freely, and know that simplicity is happiness.
There is a temple far away with not much incense. For a long time, an old monk dug up wild kiwi fruit seedlings and planted them in the courtyard. The following year, kiwi fruit grew green leaves and vines, covering half the courtyard. The third year, many villagers came to pick fruit. The old monk said, 'Picking is free, but everyone must plant a kiwi fruit tree in their own courtyard.'
The little monk didn't understand, 'Master, you give the fruit to others, why also give seedlings?' The old monk said, 'I'm willing to give the whole temple to them.' So the little monk was very angry, thinking the old monk was stupid.
After a few years, several nearby villages had planted kiwi fruit and were being purchased by merchants. The villagers also became rich. Later, the temple courtyard became bare. The original kiwi seedlings were also taken away by the villagers. The little monk was angry and said to the old monk, 'Master, now the courtyard is bare, you have to dig up trees again to plant?'
One day, the old monk and the little monk went down the mountain to the village. Everyone greeted the old monk and thanked him. The little monk didn't understand, 'Old Monk doesn't do stupid things, he has always helped villagers become rich. He is a wise man. I, on the other hand, am stupid and don't know how to help others.'
Later, the temple incense became more and more prosperous, and more and more people came to pray for blessings. This place was known as 'Lucky Basin' for a hundred miles, and there was a kind monk.
When you are willing to give your things to others, you will feel happy; if you cling to your own wealth and never let go, you will become more and more troubled. A person's life needs only so much; if you insist on getting more, you are destined to be someone who is always troubled. The truly wise do subtraction—take away some things, and you'll gain some too.
You are troubled, just let go, don't think about anything.
If you think too much about things that have happened, you will also be troubled. For example, if someone has harmed you, you hold a grudge and want to retaliate. If you seize an opportunity to harm others, you become someone who 'intends to harm others.' If someone has harmed you, you harm others, but these things are over, let it go, empty your mind, don't let your mind be 'full of stuff.'
You used to love someone, but it didn't work out. You still think about him, crying and heartbroken. You can only let go of those who are destined not to be with you, cut off all contact, and don't think about him. Then you'll turn around and meet true love. You know, the one who will accompany you to old age is true love; the one who says 'I love you for ten thousand years' may be a liar. You've been deceived by a liar, and you still keep talking about him. How silly you are!
Past things, if you're still clinging to them, you'll be troubled. For example, if someone has harmed you, you hold a grudge and want to retaliate. Really seize an opportunity to harm others, then you become 'intentionally harming' others. If someone has harmed you, you harm others, but these things are over, let it go, discard your own thoughts, don't let your mind be 'full of stuff.'

When you are troubled, just be alone, don't think about anything, let the breeze come and go lightly.
