Outside is Spring
Author: Wei Qingheng (Jiangsu)
Ren Chunfeng warmly invites me,
I remain unmoved.
Just a greeting at the window,
Strictly abiding by the agreement of staying at home,

It's a half-moon period,
I became
an observer of spring arriving.
Looking at spring through the window,
there is a deep sense of longing,
This spring,
can even dye the birds' chirping green;
Let peach blossoms transform a river of spring into pink;
Streetlights that couldn't muster energy in winter
seem to have a chance to sprout,
Willow trees weep,

shaking their tender yellow new leaves,
like newly hatched chicks, full of vitality,
Branches express a bold and free spirit,
completely disregarding, several fallen leaves
flailing about at the slightest breeze,
Lunch was dumpling filled with wild garlic blossoms
Even the aroma of fresh and delicious was there
I was pondering,
If I swallowed one whole,
wouldn't that be
a mouthful of spring color?
