Mountain Flowers in Full Bloom – Text and Photos by Qian Haimei
In the midst of a pleasant spring, the radiant sunlight bathed the earth, and the gentle spring breeze caressed all things.
In the Yangchun three months, the season of flowers, the time of blooming mountains and hills. The flora on the Umon plateau is thriving and flourishing, full of vitality, with countless flowers blooming, and the atmosphere is filled with the spirit of spring.

In the fields, in the mountains, on the branches, in the grass, and beside the houses, beautiful and charming flowers stood gracefully under the sunlight.
Cherry blossoms erupted in a dazzling display of splendor, interspersed with patches of red and white, vying for beauty. White jasmine shone brightly, swaying on the branches, one by one, in heaps, like clouds.
Peonies also bloomed, understated and elegant, some stretched into five petals, with a touch of shyness and boldness, each like a pink gemstone. Similarly, Rhododendrons flourished, covering the hillsides in shades of purple and red, like crimson silk spread across the mountains.

Clusters of Primroses swayed in the wind, with fallen petals transforming into spring soil, while unopened buds still held their beauty. Yellow Mustard flowers blooming in the grass released a charming fragrance, blooming in layers on the mountain peaks, and fell petals covered the ground with colorful patterns.
With the lingering warmth of the sunset, the evening glow gently fell on the flowers. Walking on the hillside covered with flowers, the heart wandered through the flower world, sadness dissipated with the wind, and the mood followed the blooming flowers, bringing a smile like that of jasmine flowers.
