Hierarchies Exist in Every Industry, Including Fitness
Typically, the hierarchy looks like this: Bodybuilding → Fitness → Street Fitness → Cardio
Below, we will detail the different types of exercise.
I. Bodybuilding
In the eyes of the general public, bodybuilders often look like this.

For ordinary people, their muscles are simply too large and lack aesthetic appeal.
Bodybuilders view their bodies as sculptures, constantly striving to refine and shape them.
As an athletic competition, bodybuilding focuses on physique sculpting, requiring extremely strong bodies and substantial muscle mass with balanced proportions.
Their training involves consistently pushing limits, combined with complex training plans, dietary cycles, and, critically, performance-enhancing drugs. Ultimately, they become stronger, but at the cost of compromised health and significant financial investment.
II. Fitness
The physique pursued by fitness enthusiasts is generally what most people strive for.
Fitness is also an athletic competition, but it doesn't require such exaggerated muscle mass; instead, leg development is emphasized, alongside a focus on achieving a favorable body proportion at a specific muscle density.
Compared to bodybuilding, fitness is essentially a 'child's play'.

III. Street Fitness
Street fitness combines self-weight and equipment training, with a greater emphasis on self-weight training.
Street fitness enthusiasts typically look like this.

Street fitness doesn't prioritize large muscle mass; instead, it focuses on improving overall fitness through speed, power, and explosive strength training.
When it comes to the practicality of muscle mass, bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts are at a disadvantage; many street fitness movements they cannot perform effectively, or even at all.
IV. Cardio Training
Some people prefer cardio training, such as running, hiking, and swimming.
Cardio enthusiasts typically have exceptional cardiovascular endurance; however, they also have a downside: their muscles tend to be relatively small (referencing marathon runners).
Tips: Cardio training should not be excessive, as it can easily damage the knees and lead to muscle loss.
Finally
Regardless of the training style, prioritize your overall health, and then focus on training.
Most strong individuals don't even acknowledge this fitness hierarchy.
After all, different fields have different focuses.
