Technique of Pinning: Teaching Materials for Jinquan Bang Gong (Heavy Staff Technique) and Wenzhangzi Gong (Twisting Staff Technique)
Qi Jinxin Gong Breathing Method
Adopts clockwise breathing, inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose.
Practice Method
Prepare one wooden stick approximately 3 centimeters in diameter and 30-40 centimeters long, with a rope tied in the middle. Attach a sandbag to the lower end of the rope.
Inhale: Stand with feet wide apart in a horse-riding stance, with both hands gripping the wooden stick ends with palms facing down, arms extended forward and parallel to the shoulders. Visualize the essence of heaven and earth’s energy entering the Dantian (Figure 2-48).
Exhale: Simultaneously, continuously grab and twist the wooden stick with both hands, causing the rope to wrap around the stick. Visualize the energy flowing from the Dantian along the inner sides of the arms (Figure 2-49).

Inhale: Simultaneously, continuously grab and twist the wooden stick backward, causing the rope to unwind and return to its original state. Visualize the energy flowing from the Baihui point down the Ren Mai meridian into the Dantian.
Practice Requirements
Repeat the above method for 49 repetitions.
Twisting Stick Technique
Breathing Method
Adopts counterclockwise breathing, inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose.
Practice Method
Inhale: Hold both ends of the wooden stick with palms facing upwards, lift both arms forward. Visualize the essence of heaven and earth’s energy entering the Dantian (Figure 2-50).
Exhale: Right hand holds one end of the stick, performs an upward and leftward arc twist (Figure 2-51). Continue to apply force to flip and twist the stick, and extend the left wrist downwards, with palms facing down, visualizing the energy rising through Zhongjun point, dividing into two streams passing through the two armpits along the inner sides of the arms to the Luo Gai point (Figure 2-52).
Inhale: Right hand holds the stick end upwards and to the right, performing an arc twist to restore; visualize the energy flowing from the outer sides of the arms, passing through Baihui forward downwards along the Ren Mai meridian into the Dantian.

Practice Requirements
Repeat the above method for 49 repetitions.
