Dish Without a Drop of Water: Fresh Vegetables, Pork Belly, and Tofu Pot
Vegetables, mushrooms, pork belly and tofu, layered and stacked in a pot, slowly simmered over low heat, without adding a drop of water or oil, bringing out the natural freshness of the ingredients and a healthy, delicious flavor.
Ingredients: Onion 1, Shiitake mushrooms 3, Button mushrooms 3, Red radish half a piece, Pork belly slices 1 box (300g), Tofu 1 box
Green onion 2 stalks, Cabbage 1/4 head, Salt (to taste) a little
Seasoning: Mirin 50ml, Japanese soy sauce 100ml, Rice wine 50ml, Seven spice powder as needed
1 Prepare the ingredients, slice onion and green onion into strands, slice mushrooms, slice cabbage into large pieces, slice red radish thinly, cut tofu into slices and drain off excess water
2 Spread onion strands on the bottom of the pot
3 Then spread a layer of red radish, mushrooms (leave some red radish slices later and arrange them on top)
4 Continue to stack cabbage and tofu
5 Pork belly slices are spread on a layer
6 Repeat the stacking of remaining cabbage, tofu, and pork belly
7 Finally, arrange shiitake mushrooms and green onion slices, remaining red radish slices, drizzle with Japanese soy sauce, mirin, and wine seasoning
8 Cover the pot with a lid, simmer over low heat for about 30-40 minutes, do not lift the lid halfway through to allow the moisture from the vegetables to steam the ingredients
9 Lift the lid, sprinkle with seven spice powder and green onion, enjoy the delicious and fresh flavor
