I'll teach you a new way to eat chicken, without using a single drop of water


Ingredients: Chicken, scallions, ginger
Seasonings: Pepper, light soy sauce, salt, oyster sauce, peanut oil


1Wash the chicken clean and drain the water, then add scallion segments and ginger, then add a spoonful of pepper, 2 spoonfuls of light soy sauce, half a spoonful of salt, 1 spoonful of oyster sauce and an appropriate amount of peanut oil. Use your hands to evenly coat the chicken and let it marinate for 30 minutes or more. The longer the marinating time, the more flavorful it will be.


2Add a lot of oil to the pot, add white scallions and ginger to sauté out the fragrance, then put the marinated chicken in, slow-cook over low heat, remember not to use high heat, high heat is easy to burn.


3When frying chicken, flip it frequently. You can use a large spoon to pour hot oil onto the chicken skin, which can make the chicken skin color better. Fry for about 5-6 minutes, and the chicken skin will be colored before it comes out of the pan, you don't need to worry about whether the chicken is cooked or not, this step is mainly to color the chicken skin.

4After the chicken is out of the pan, pour the previously marinated chicken sauce on the chicken, then put it into a pot of boiling steam, medium-high heat steam for about 15 minutes. If it's a whole chicken, the steaming time may be longer.


5When the time is up, take out the steamed chicken and let it cool slightly before cutting it into pieces and plating. Finally, pour the steamed juice on it.
