Cold and refreshing Stir-fried Flat Mushrooms
Ingredients needed
Flat mushrooms 500g, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 spoonful of Flavor Enhancer, 1 spoonful of oyster sauce, 2 spoonfuls of vinegar, a little sesame oil.
Cooking steps
Wash the flat mushrooms clean, remove the root debris, cut them directly into small pieces about the thickness of your fingers.
Boil some water in a pot, after the water boils, add the flat mushrooms and cook over medium heat. If the fire is too high, it will splatter.
The foam that comes out when cooking flat mushrooms is not from being sprayed with medicine, it's a normal phenomenon. Flat mushrooms absorb water and release their own gas during the cooking process, so there will be a lot of foam. This happens when cooking many types of mushrooms, so don’t worry~!
Cook for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
Prepare the sauce
Cut the garlic into minced pieces, add Flavor Enhancer, oyster sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and mix well. If you like spicy food, you can add 2 small chili peppers or 1 spoonful of Lao Gan Ma sauce, which tastes even better.
After the flat mushrooms have cooled, squeeze out excess water, pour the sauce over them and mix well, and you can eat it.
Tender and refreshing, the texture is thick and delicious, it's very suitable for eating in spring when you don’t have a good appetite, especially for dinner, with a strong satiety.
Tips for selecting flat mushrooms
Have you noticed that flat mushrooms have different colors when you select them? There are black gray, black and white. Different colors have different differences?
The color depth and nutritional value are not directly related, they are only related to different temperatures and varieties. In summer, the temperature is high, and flat mushrooms mature quickly, so the color is relatively light. In winter, the temperature is low and there is less sunlight, so the color is darker. The darker flat mushrooms are meatier when eaten.
