Many people love Korean kimchi, it's savory, sweet, sour, and spicy – you'll never get tired of it. Kimchi is also very versatile and tastes good with almost anything. You can make all sorts of dishes with it. Basically, it's delicious no matter how you eat it.

Today, Pineapple Sister is sharing a super easy, quick recipe for Kimchi Pancakes. It's perfect for breakfast when you're in a hurry – you can have it ready in 5 minutes!

Ingredients: 250g Korean Kimchi, 200g Flour, 30g Flaxseed Powder, 220g Water + 100g

Instructions:

This is the kimchi I just received – it's really affordable and looks appetizing! You can also make kimchi at home, which is pretty easy. Pineapple Sister shared a video on how to make kimchi before, if you're interested, you can check it out.




Cut 250g of kimchi into small pieces. If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of kimchi accordingly.


Add 200g of flour and 30g of flaxseed powder to a large bowl, along with the chopped kimchi.

First, mix with 220g of water to make a thick batter. Adding a little water helps prevent the flour from clumping.


Then, add 100g of water to dilute the batter to a flowing consistency like this.

Preheat a non-stick pan. Use a spoon to scoop out small pancakes and cook them. You can also make one large pancake.


Flip the kimchi pancake when one side is set. Cook until the batter is firm and the pancakes are golden brown on both sides.


It's really ready in 5 minutes! These kimchi pancakes don't need any seasonings – it's super convenient.

Strong kimchi flavor, plus the addition of flaxseed powder – it's even more delicious and healthy.
