This little dessert is Japanese pancake, a type of cake. It's actually made with cake batter, just with a different final step. The final step for cake is baking in the oven, while this pancake is cooked in a flat pan. If you don't have an oven at home, you can still make it. Ingredients

2 eggs, 100g milk, 60g low-gluten flour, 10g corn oil, 35g white sugar

Method

1Pour milk and corn oil into a bowl, whisk first, then add two egg yolks.

2Beat the egg yolk and milk corn oil with a whisk until smooth, forming egg yolk liquid.

3Sift in 60g low-gluten flour, remember to sift it, so that the flour doesn't have particles.

4Use a scraper to evenly fold the flour and egg yolk mixture, no flour particles should remain.

5Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites, then add white sugar and start whipping the egg whites. If you don't have lemon juice, you can use a few drops of white vinegar, the purpose is to increase the stability of the protein and prevent it from deflating.

9Pour the remaining one-third of the cake batter into the remaining egg white and continue to mix evenly.
