Hundred Flavors of Tofu – Macadamia Tofu

Main Ingredients
Tofu 150g
Side Ingredients
Macadamia Nuts: 30g, Two Egg Whites
Seasonings
Vegetable Oil 500g (approx. 50g consumed), Salt, MSG, Sesame Oil, Flour, Cornstarch (all to taste)
Knife Work
Cut the tofu into 1cm thick slices using boiling water blanching. Remove, drain the water, and cut against the grain to create 1cm thick slices.
Instructions
1. Place egg whites in a flat plate and use a square-headed bamboo chopstick to draw streaks in one direction to make egg foam, add flour and cornstarch to mix well and wait for use.
2. Place a bowl, add tofu slices, salt, MSG, sesame oil, then cover with egg foam.
3. Slowly heat vegetable oil in a pan. When heated to 40% heat, quickly add the tofu slices, sprinkle with flour, cover with egg foam, then sprinkle a little macadamia nuts, gently press, and then put it into the oil. When it turns into a light yellow color, remove it and drain the oil, then plate it.
